Over the past 3 years, the Moms for Moms Communities have been such a wonderful daily benefit in my life. It was after a Tuesday Pitkin County Library Baby Storytime that one of my new mom friends mentioned that Moms for Moms Communities was looking for a host for the website. I said, “What is that?” My future and life as a mother were forever changed.
Aspen Moms for Moms became my new found connection to other mothers, local events, support, friends, and essentially a saving grace. It provided me such a wonderful circuit of friends and activities and really changed my experience as a mother. It soon turned into a professional opportunity as well and allowed me to work from home while engaging with wonderful local businesses and organizations. It has been an honor to host this community and to be a part of so many mothers’ lives. Thank you members for all your support, for without you, Aspen Moms for Moms would not exist. Please continue to be involved, share your stories, questions, photos and events as I will be an active member in the Aspen Moms for Moms Community and will want to know what you have to share!
With this, I would like to introduce the new owner and host of Aspen Moms for Moms, Ia Faraoni. I distinctly remember the day she joined as and we were soon Zumba’ing with our boys at the Woody Creek Community Center. She understood immediately what AMfM’s was all about and became a wonderful contributor. She recognized the value of the local community and the support that could be found through it on her own motherhood journey.
Please welcome her and read her story here…
